iav-2010-sem-95 Over two hundred current and future clients representing the Corporate, Gov/Ed, Medical and Religious markets from municipalities around the Houston Metro area and South Texas attended this annual event. The IAV Technology Show is held in our facility, and since 1983 the focus has always been to keep our clientele informed about state of the art audio-visual technology.

In the main hall, High-Definition TV and Video production solutions abounded. Switchers were demonstrated by Grass Valley and Broadcast Pix. In acquisition, Panasonic and JVC proved the future is now with their solid-state/tapeless camcorders, along with traditional studio configurable cameras. Christie Digital and Canon displayed 16:9 HD projectors and Sharp debuted it's first 3D projector at the IAV show. Keywest Technologies, Exhibio and NetStreams showed digital signage systems.

Many of the aforementioned manufacturer's components were interfaced together via Extron Electronics switchers, distribution amplifiers and twisted pair devices for the projector displays. Manufacturer's representatives for industry sem-80 leaders such as Bosch, JBL, Crown, QSC,Denon, AKG, BSS and Audio-Technica held court in our lobby and reminded end users of the impact audio can make in video productions, presentations in boardrooms and conference rooms, and in sanctuary sound systems.
