Another popular facet of the show has been our seminar room. In the morning, Max Kopsho of Kramer Electronics conducted the "AV in the Digital Age" seminar, which largely focused on the transition from analog-to-digital signal transmission not only in your home TV but in most every category of AV production and system integration. Individuals that attended this class qualified to earn CTS renewal credits. Afterward, IAV personnel quickly reconfigured the room for the highlight of the day, real Texas barbecue! The consensus reached here is that this lunch should forever remain analog and not digital. After another quick turnaround to the seminar configuration, Tom Ostermann of Starin Marketing presided over "Digital Signage for Everyone", focusing on the different market applications and the components necessary to implement a digital signage system.

sem-35 Upstairs in our conference room was a brave new world. Total Marketing supported videoconferencing demonstrations by Tandberg, document cameras by WolfVision, multi-viewer and display processing by RGB Spectrum, and conferencing microphones by Revolabs.
